This nature reserve is on the site of the former Wandle Valley Sewage Works, which became redundant in the 1970s

The mixture of habitats creates a valuable oasis for quiet enjoyment of nature, with abundant plant life, including hawthorn, silver birch, ash, hazel, field maple, dog-rose and blackthorn.

Wandle Meadow Nature Park is a 4.15 hectare local nature park flanked with residential houses. The park runs alongside the river Wandle. Ideal location for a variety of shoots.
