Beckton Globe Library is a modern build working library, with a mixed exterior design of glass, open brick and prominent circular entrance. Outside leading up to the building there is a large controllable pedestrian area with small trees, multiple metal benches and street lamps/CCTV towers. The Library has a spacious round reception area and a large study area with bookshelves.

The Library also provides a variety of activities for the public, from Toy Library for young children (Mondays 10am - 12pm and Thursdays 1pm - 3pm) to Knit and Natter Group (Wednesdays 10am - 12pm).
