My property is live on FilmHub. What happens next?

Firstly, welcome!

Now you’ve joined we’d like to wish you a warm welcome to our creative community and let you know that we are here to support you as and when you need. (We’ve some FAQs here if you’d like to read them)

Your property is now being advertised to the minds behind everything creative you see on screen, online, in print and in real world brand activations.

How does it work:

  1. Creatives find your property by searching our library of spaces
  2. They add all potential destinations they are interested in, to their basket
  3. They submit a single enquiry for all properties in their basket in one go
  4. You are alerted to their interest and you confirm back to us over email your availability and interest
  5. We then send you full information about the enquiry including:
    • The production type
    • Size of the cast and crew
    • Details of the action taking place
    • The Fee payable to you
  6. We then
    • Collaborate together to arrange a ‘Recce’ (Site visit)
    • Negotiate final costs between everyone
    • Agree all finer details
    • Arrange invoicing and payment
    • Check Risk Assessments, Health and Safety docs and Insurance
    • Issue licences for their activity

And then it’s time for Lights, Camera, Action!

Here are a few useful tips to keep in mind.

  • Remember! NEVER give your contact details (mobile or email) to a visiting production as we cannot guarantee the protection of your personal data if you do (You run the risk of unwanted and disruptive calls at unsuitable hours – we deal with these for you!).
  • Simply tell them, “Speak directly with FilmHub for all questions and requests”
  • We give you a full breakdown of the hire activity before you agree to the hire. This will include confirmation on:
    • Set building / art department intentions (if any)
    • If a multi-day hire, what activity takes place on each day. The different day types are known as Prep, Film, Strike and Hold.
      • Prep day: The production are preparing their film set for the Film day(s). ("Prep days" charge less than "Film days")
      • Film day: The production are filming and the hire fee is at it's full day rate.
      • Strike day: The production are removing all props, artwork and equipment from the Film day(s). ("Strike days" charge less that "Film days")
      • Hold Days: No activity taking place on site, except for the presence of a production security team.
  • 24/7 support for any issues
  • We can accommodate any specific needs your property has, just let us know and we can include this in your licencing. For example some listed properties cannot allow the use of smoke / haze machines.
    • You can add these yourself, one-at-a-time into the 'Additional Clauses' section found at: My Locations >> Edit >> Additional Clauses
  • We ensure hiring productions follow all industry standards and best practices at all times!

Put your property in the picture. The film industry needs almost every conceivable location type.
